We’re searching for a Lawyer Trainee who’s excited to learn how modern legal teams operate — no courtroom experience needed, just critical thinking, curiosity, and a strong sense of responsibility. You’ll work alongside experienced lawyers, assisting with legal research, drafting internal notes, and preparing supporting documents for real cases. We’ll show you how to read between the lines of legal texts, spot potential issues, and provide structured summaries for attorneys. You’ll help prepare materials for client meetings, hearings, or negotiations, gaining exposure to real-world legal processes. Expect to observe real client interactions and understand how legal advice is delivered with clarity and confidence. You’ll work across civil, commercial, and administrative cases, depending on the firm’s focus and your interests. We’ll introduce you to legal project management tools, filing systems, and how to work within deadlines and confidentiality boundaries. You’ll learn how to use legal databases, citation systems, and document management tools like a pro. We’ll introduce you to legal citation styles, internal procedures, and the basics of litigation preparation.

Basic Qualifications:

• Handle sensitive or high-stakes matters with confidentiality and sound judgment.
• Think critically and strategically even when working with limited information or time.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents with precision.
• Prepare cases by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and building strong arguments.
• Respond quickly to urgent legal issues, especially in high-pressure or crisis scenarios.

Preferred:

• Open to continuous legal education, seminars, or certifications to deepen expertise.
• Experienced in managing case files, deadlines, and legal correspondence efficiently.
• Able to supervise paralegals, junior lawyers, or interns and delegate research or drafting tasks.
• Capable of adapting to new legal tech tools like document automation, e-discovery, or client portals.
• Able to represent clients in court, mediation, arbitration, or regulatory proceedings.
