Description:

We’re seeking a Cashier who brings consistency, courtesy, and confidence to every transaction — someone who understands that checkout isn’t just about speed, but about closing each visit on a high note. You’ll process purchases accurately, handle different payment types, and ensure every customer feels acknowledged and respected. You’ll begin by shadowing experienced staff and gradually take on more responsibility as your confidence grows. You’ll greet every customer with genuine enthusiasm and treat each one with kindness and patience — even during the busiest moments. You’ll learn how to stay organized, count change accurately, and keep your station clean and ready for the next guest. You’ll help restock front-of-store merchandise and maintain tidy, inviting checkout lanes. You’ll help with price checks, returns, exchanges, and receipts, always keeping a calm and respectful tone. You’ll support your coworkers by jumping in where needed and contributing to a smooth daily store flow. You’ll take part in opening and closing routines, counting drawers and preparing deposits when required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Thank every customer genuinely—it’s the last impression before they leave.
• Make every checkout feel smooth, respectful, and just a little bit personal.
• Keep your station clean, organized, and stocked with bags, receipt paper, and other supplies.
• Bag items neatly and efficiently while being mindful of product weight and safety.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately while checking receipts and item condition.

Preferred:

• Can assist with bagging purchases, gift wrapping, or packaging fragile items safely.
• Familiar with safety and loss prevention procedures, including recognizing suspicious behavior.
• Willing to help with restocking near registers, merchandising impulse buys, or monitoring front-end cleanliness.
• Pays close attention to accuracy when scanning items, applying discounts, and processing returns.
• Willing to answer product-related questions or direct customers to the right department.
