Description:

We’re seeking an Architect Trainee who dreams of designing spaces that are not only beautiful, but purposeful — no prior experience required, just a strong design sense and eagerness to learn. You’ll assist with drafting layouts, preparing site plans, and translating sketches into clean architectural drawings. We’ll teach you how to read and create architectural drawings, from floor plans to sections and elevations. You’ll work closely with senior architects to understand how every line on a plan has meaning, function, and consequence. You’ll help with producing project documents, zoning research, and reference boards for internal and client presentations. Expect to sit in on design reviews and learn how architects respond to real feedback from clients, engineers, and users. We’ll guide you through the basics of model-making, detailing, and material selection. You’ll explore how light, form, and circulation impact human experience within the built environment. You’ll also sit in on client consultations to understand how architects balance vision, budget, and regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Oversee bidding and contractor selection if you're involved in that phase.
• Balance beauty and practicality—your designs should inspire, but also get built.
• Ensure architectural integrity and coherence across all project elements and disciplines.
• Design functional, aesthetic, and sustainable structures that meet client goals and regulatory codes.
• Adapt plans when unexpected challenges arise—soil issues, zoning limits, or client changes.

Preferred:

• Experience developing concept designs, construction drawings, and detailed architectural documentation.
• Able to translate client visions into buildable, context-aware architecture.
• Familiar with zoning laws, permitting processes, and sustainable building practices.
• Willing to take part in design competitions, exhibitions, or research-based initiatives.
• Comfortable creating architectural visualizations, 3D models, and presentation boards for client review.
