Description:

We’re hiring a dedicated Discord Moderator to help manage and grow our online community, ensuring a positive environment for all members. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a positive and respectful environment on our Discord server, ensuring that all users follow community guidelines. You’ll assist in moderating conversations, identifying disruptive behavior, and addressing any issues to maintain a safe environment. You’ll help organize and moderate events such as discussions, Q&As, and community activities, keeping the server active and engaging. You’ll monitor chat activity, ensuring that conversations remain respectful, appropriate, and in line with server rules. You’ll help organize events and activities that engage the community, encourage collaboration, and keep members active. You’ll be responsible for onboarding new members, answering questions, and guiding them on how to navigate the server. You’ll moderate voice and text channels to ensure the server remains friendly, informative, and free of spam or disruptive behavior.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ultimately, help make the server a safe, fun, and thriving place where people want to return—not just visit.
• Help test new bots, features, or server changes before they’re rolled out to the whole community.
• Maintain mod chat discussions and moderation logs with professionalism and respect for privacy.
• Warn, mute, kick, or ban users when necessary to address spam, harassment, or other rule violations—using moderation tools like Dyno, Carl-bot, or MEE6.
• Use discretion when handling sensitive situations—don’t overshare bans, DMs, or user reports with the public.

Preferred:

• Comfortable reminding members about the rules in a friendly and fair way.
• Excited to grow into more responsibility as they gain experience.
• Interested in helping organize server activities or events to keep the community engaged.
• Pays attention to chat flow and can recognize spam or inappropriate behavior.
• Willing to learn how to use moderation tools like MEE6, Dyno, or Carl-bot.
