We’re hiring a Manicurist Trainee to assist in a luxury nail salon — ideal for someone who values elegance, discretion, and delivering a flawless client experience. You’ll begin by learning how to perform clean manicures using non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty-free products. You’ll assist in greeting VIP clients, offering refreshments, and helping them feel relaxed and welcomed from the first moment. You’ll be trained in efficient workflows for manicures, pedicures, and express services that respect the client’s time and space. You’ll learn how to adapt to different environments — small apartments, corporate lounges, or outdoor patios — while maintaining salon-level quality. You’ll support services such as paraffin wraps, hand exfoliation, and cuticle oil massage as part of elevated care packages. You’ll be taught to work without drills or aggressive tools, focusing on preserving the integrity of the natural nail. You’ll help maintain tools and stations, following hygiene standards like sterilizing metal tools and using disposable files when required. You’ll receive coaching on client interaction — polite conversation, attentive silence, and when to speak or simply serve.

Basic Qualifications:

• Help maintain inventory and notify management when supplies need restocking.
• Listen actively to clients to create a welcoming, relaxing, and personalized experience.
• Build long-term client relationships through excellent service and consistent results.
• Educate clients about proper nail health and hygiene when appropriate.
• Sanitize tools and workstations thoroughly between each client in accordance with hygiene standards.

Preferred:

• Enjoys making clients feel confident, pampered, and satisfied with beautiful nail work.
• Familiar with shaping nails, cuticle care, buffing, and applying polish with precision and consistency.
• Comfortable performing spa-level treatments including exfoliation, massage, or paraffin wax as needed.
• Values cleanliness, attention to detail, and creativity in every service.
• Certified or trained in manicure and pedicure services with a solid understanding of nail anatomy and hygiene.
