Description:

We’re hiring a Dishwasher for our night shift — perfect for someone who prefers quiet hours, steady tasks, and takes pride in leaving the kitchen spotless for the next day. You’ll work at weddings, conferences, private parties, and outdoor events, ensuring all kitchenware and service items are cleaned and ready for use. You’ll ensure every item is sanitized, dried, and restocked to the appropriate station for use during busy service hours. You’ll help clean kitchen equipment, counters, shelves, and floors as part of daily closing routines. You’ll help clean up food prep tools, chafing dishes, trays, and coolers to make breakdown smooth and efficient. You’ll load and unload dish racks, storage bins, and gear before and after transport to and from the event site. You’ll assist with end-of-day cleanup, including sweeping, wiping equipment, emptying trash, and removing food waste. You’ll communicate clearly with chefs, servers, and stewards to prioritize items during peak hours or events. You’ll be responsible for checking that all kitchen zones are clean, dry, and ready for the next morning’s shift.

Basic Qualifications:

• Scrape food waste, rinse items, and load dish racks efficiently without breakage.
• Sort and stack clean dishes properly for use by kitchen and service staff.
• Respect food waste handling rules and dispose of leftover food according to kitchen policies.
• Take pride in keeping the backbone of the kitchen running quietly and efficiently.
• Work quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Willing to assist with garbage removal, floor cleaning, and equipment wipe-downs during and after service.
• Enjoys contributing to the success of the team through behind-the-scenes work.
• Understands the importance of teamwork and communication in keeping the kitchen running smoothly.
• Willing to follow manager instructions, complete cleaning checklists, and take initiative when tasks are low.
• Familiar with operating commercial dishwashing machines, including loading, unloading, and proper rack usage.
