Description:

We’re looking for a dynamic and passionate Community Manager to join our remote team and build a strong, engaged online community. You’ll be responsible for developing strategies to foster positive interactions and maintain an active, thriving community. You’ll help implement strategies to increase engagement, retain members, and build a strong sense of belonging within the community. You’ll manage and monitor community platforms, responding to comments and resolving any issues or concerns promptly. You’ll collaborate with the marketing and content teams to align community efforts with broader brand initiatives and campaigns. You’ll track key metrics, analyze community sentiment, and provide actionable insights to enhance engagement strategies. You’ll collaborate with influencers and partners to increase brand visibility and engage with a larger audience. You’ll help build relationships with key influencers and brand ambassadors to expand the community and increase brand awareness.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Plan and execute engagement activities like AMAs, challenges, contests, or feedback polls to keep the community active and involved.
  • Create and schedule community content: weekly check-ins, resource drops, discussion prompts, and spotlight features.
  • Monitor and report on competitor communities to spot trends, inspiration, or gaps worth exploring.
  • Write and maintain community guidelines, pinned posts, and FAQ docs that set expectations and answer common questions clearly.
  • Monitor discussions to ensure they stay respectful, on-topic, and aligned with community guidelines—stepping in calmly when moderation is needed.

Preferred:

  • Interested in user advocacy and acting as a voice between community and company.
  • Experience collaborating with marketing, support, or product teams to align messaging.
  • Excited to scale communities while keeping them human, intentional, and vibrant.
  • Able to monitor sentiment, gather feedback, and report insights to internal teams.
  • Can manage multiple time zones and maintain active engagement in async environments.

Benefits:

  • We celebrate engagement, quality conversations, and that one thread that blew up with good vibes.
  • Weekly rituals, shoutouts, events, and “just for fun” threads are part of how we roll.
  • Work remotely and build an online space where people actually want to hang out — not just post once and bounce.
  • Access to platforms like Discord, Circle, Slack, Facebook Groups, or Geneva — wherever your community lives best.
  • Flexible hours — community happens across time zones, and we trust you to manage your rhythm.

You’ll help guide conversations, ensuring that discussions are respectful, aligned with brand values, and productive. You’ll develop a voice for the community, ensuring content and interactions reflect the brand’s tone and messaging. You’ll create engaging newsletters and email campaigns to keep the community informed about new updates, events, and promotions. You’ll help with brand advocacy, encouraging satisfied community members to share their experiences and promote the brand. You’ll actively listen to the community’s needs and concerns, ensuring their voices are heard and represented in the company’s decisions. You’ll ensure that all community initiatives are aligned with business objectives and deliver measurable results. This remote role offers flexibility, allowing you to manage and grow the community from anywhere while contributing to a dynamic team. If you're passionate about creating meaningful connections, building communities, and driving engagement, we’d love to hear from you.
