Description:

We’re looking for a Pharmacist who’s equal parts science nerd, people person, and cool under pressure. You’ll be the person patients turn to when they leave the doctor’s office unsure and need clarity, not just medication. You’ll check prescriptions with laser focus — spotting errors, catching interactions, and asking the questions others don’t. You’ll counsel patients with clarity, helping them understand their treatments and how to take them safely. You’ll collaborate with doctors, nurses, and caregivers — forming a bridge between treatment plans and real-life use. You’ll review charts, follow protocols, and never cut corners — because safety always comes first. You’ll turn a crowded waiting area into a space of trust, reassurance, and quiet efficiency. You’ll stay on top of new medications and treatment guidelines, because healthcare never stops evolving — and neither do you. You’ll manage controlled substances with discipline and documentation that would make any auditor proud.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Review prescriptions for completeness, legality, and accuracy—contacting physicians when clarification or substitutions are needed.
  • Stay compliant with licensing requirements and continuing education to maintain credentials and professional knowledge.
  • Provide clear counseling to patients on how to properly take their medications, potential side effects, and safe storage or disposal practices.
  • Balance operational efficiency with compassionate care—making sure patients feel supported, not rushed.
  • Monitor inventory levels of pharmaceuticals and supplies, placing orders and managing stock to avoid shortages or expirations.

Preferred:

  • Organized with recordkeeping, audit preparation, and regulatory compliance checks.
  • Able to collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions or recommend alternatives.
  • Understands the importance of HIPAA compliance and protecting patient confidentiality.
  • Familiar with pharmacy management systems like PioneerRx, McKesson, or QS/1.
  • Experience dispensing prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and counseling patients on medication use.

Benefits:

  • You’re not just filling prescriptions — you’re providing clarity, safety, and peace of mind to patients.
  • Daily rituals include team huddles, patient check-ins, and the occasional heartfelt thank-you from someone you helped.
  • Your role is vital — whether it’s answering a question, catching a dangerous interaction, or calming a worried patient.
  • Work in a respected, clinical environment where your expertise directly improves lives every single day.
  • You’ll be treated as a medical professional, not just a “pill counter.”

You’ll uphold strict regulatory standards, not because you have to — but because you believe in protecting people. You’ll be the calm authority when someone’s unsure, the kind explainer when someone’s overwhelmed. You’ll juggle patients, doctors, insurers, and your team — and somehow still keep your sense of humor. ” into opportunities to educate and empower. You’ll be organized, alert, and reliable — the kind of person people come to when they need answers fast. You’ll help deliver not just prescriptions, but trust, support, and guidance to everyone who walks through the door. You won’t just dispense medicine — you’ll dispense peace of mind. You’ll be part of something bigger — a system that depends on people like you to keep it safe and human. If you believe that a great pharmacist is part clinician, part counselor, and part quiet hero — we want you on our team.
