Description:

We’re looking for an Email Marketing Assistant to help create, optimize, and manage email campaigns that drive engagement and sales. You’ll be responsible for drafting, scheduling, and sending marketing emails to promote products, services, and brand content. You’ll collaborate with the marketing team to ensure email content aligns with ongoing campaigns and promotional efforts. You’ll work with the marketing team to develop email strategies that support promotions, product launches, and customer loyalty efforts. You’ll help build and maintain segmented email lists, targeting specific groups with personalized content to improve conversion rates. You’ll track and analyze email campaign metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates, to refine strategies. You’ll ensure that all emails are optimized for mobile devices, ensuring a seamless experience for all recipients. You’ll assist in setting up automated email workflows to nurture leads and support customer retention.

Basic Qualifications:

• Document and maintain SOPs for recurring email tasks, templates, and tagging conventions.
• Double-check segmentation logic and automation triggers before launching any sequence.
• Be proactive—flag low-performing campaigns or suggest new angles even if you're not the strategist.
• Monitor deliverability and reputation metrics, helping prevent emails from going to spam or being blocked.
• Coordinate with the customer support team to ensure responses to email replies are timely and helpful.

Preferred:

• Curious about improving email performance through testing and iteration.
• Knows how to write clear subject lines, preview text, and CTAs that drive engagement.
• Understands how to clean mailing lists, manage unsubscribes, and maintain deliverability.
• Can help repurpose blog content, product updates, or promotional materials for email.
• Basic understanding of email marketing principles, including audience segmentation and A/B testing.

You’ll ensure compliance with email marketing regulations, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other privacy laws. You’ll assist in gathering and analyzing feedback from subscribers to improve email content and customer satisfaction.
