We’re hiring an Actuary Trainee who’s passionate about numbers, risk, and turning data into real-world decisions — no experience required, just strong math skills and a curious, analytical mind. You’ll assist in developing financial models that help estimate uncertainty and support smarter decision-making. We’ll teach you how to collect, clean, and interpret data to support pricing, forecasting, and decision-making. You’ll help evaluate life expectancy, claim frequency, and potential financial outcomes based on real-world data. Expect to explore how assumptions about age, health, behavior, and economy affect insurance pricing or pension planning. You’ll support quarterly updates, regulatory filings, and model validations that directly inform business strategy. We’ll guide you through the principles of time value of money, discounting, and present value calculations. You’ll participate in discussions about reserves, liabilities, and how companies prepare for the unexpected. We’ll guide you through key actuarial metrics like expected value, standard deviation, and confidence intervals.

Basic Qualifications:

• Refine models based on actual outcomes to improve predictive accuracy over time.
• Attend conferences, workshops, or webinars to stay sharp in a fast-evolving field.
• Train or mentor junior actuarial staff and help them prepare for certification exams.
• Build and maintain actuarial models that predict outcomes for insurance, finance, or pension products.
• Support internal audit or risk committees by preparing clear and concise reports.

Preferred:

• Experience with audit support or regulatory submissions is a plus.
• Enjoys solving complex quantitative problems with real-world financial impact.
• Background or strong interest in actuarial science, economics, risk management, or applied statistics.
• Able to collaborate with underwriters, analysts, and finance teams on cross-functional projects.
• Willing to assist in preparing reports, presentations, and technical documentation for stakeholders.
