Description:
We’re looking for a Courier Intern who’s ready to navigate the city with confidence, delivering small packages on foot, bike, or scooter with speed and care. You’ll start by shadowing experienced couriers to learn optimal routes, safe driving or riding practices, and customer service basics. You’ll assist with picking up packages, checking addresses, and verifying delivery details before heading out. You’ll be trained to use GPS tools, delivery apps, and handheld scanners to update delivery statuses in real time. You’ll help maintain delivery logs, update transport records, and confirm hand-offs with clear signatures and documentation. You’ll be taught how to handle fragile, high-value, or time-sensitive packages with extra security and attention. You’ll support pickups as well — collecting returns, business shipments, or signed documents along your route. You’ll learn to handle customer interactions politely — whether delivering to a receptionist, security gate, or private residence. You’ll gain experience in handling fragile, urgent, or sensitive deliveries with extra care and attention.
Basic Qualifications:
- Keep delivery logs updated and submit paperwork or electronic forms at the end of each shift.
- Keep your workspace—vehicle, bag, or bike—clean and organized throughout the day.
- Work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, or weekends when needed.
- Load and unload packages in a way that maximizes space while preventing damage.
- Provide friendly, professional service when interacting with customers or recipients.
Preferred:
- Familiar with handling fragile, urgent, or temperature-sensitive items appropriately.
- Organized with delivery logs, fuel receipts, and basic vehicle maintenance or bike upkeep.
- Understands safety practices for road use, parking, weather conditions, and personal security.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments where speed, service, and reliability are essential.
- Experience making local deliveries for restaurants, stores, offices, or logistics companies.
Benefits:
- Your feedback matters — help improve the system you work in.
- Daily payouts or weekly — your choice, always on time.
- Every day’s different — new places, people, and challenges.
- Team chat for tips, help, or just to say “good luck out there.”
- Flexible schedule — work when it suits you: mornings, evenings, weekends, or full-time.
You’ll support communication with dispatch, updating them on progress, arrival estimates, and route changes. You’ll learn how to handle minor issues on the go, like wrong addresses, building access delays, or missed drop-offs. You’ll assist with night or early-morning runs, learning how to maintain alertness and focus over long stretches. You’ll learn to anticipate fuel needs, food stops, and overnight stays when multi-day routes are required. You’ll receive support, encouragement, and real-time feedback from dispatchers and senior couriers. You’ll receive direct guidance and mentorship from senior drivers who will help you grow into a reliable solo courier. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being on the move, solving small problems, and working independently. If you’re excited to explore new routes, deliver across distances, and be trusted with high-priority cargo, we’d love to train you.
