Description:
We’re hiring women who want to become Auto Mechanics — not just as a statement, but because this trade needs more sharp, focused, and capable hands like yours. You don’t need prior experience — just a real interest in how things work, the discipline to learn by doing, and the confidence to step into a field that’s ready to change. You’ll perform oil changes, brake jobs, suspension work, and engine diagnostics with consistency, care, and clear documentation. You’ll be taught how to read service manuals, follow repair orders, and approach every task with focus and respect for safety. You’ll inspect vehicles thoroughly, explain findings honestly, and never guess when safety is on the line. ” You’ll learn how to lift safely, use tools properly, identify wear, and catch early warning signs — the stuff that makes a mechanic valuable, not replaceable. You’ll get hands-on time with real vehicles and real problems, and we’ll never throw you into a job you haven’t been prepared for. You’ll use scanners, manuals, and logic — because good diagnostics isn’t strength, it’s smart thinking and paying attention. You’ll work on real cars for real customers, and see how your work directly impacts safety, satisfaction, and trust.
Basic Qualifications:
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake pad replacements, tire rotations, fluid checks, and battery replacements.
- Assist in training junior technicians or apprentices on shop procedures, tool usage, and repair best practices.
- Test drive vehicles before and after service to confirm repairs and ensure proper function and performance.
- Remain calm and solution-focused when facing complex or intermittent issues that require in-depth testing.
- Stay current with new vehicle technologies, repair procedures, and diagnostic systems through training or certifications (e.g., ASE, OEM).
Preferred:
- Able to communicate clearly with customers or service advisors about findings and estimates.
- Physically fit to lift heavy components, work under vehicles, and operate power tools safely.
- Able to perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks accurately.
- Thrives in hands-on, collaborative work environments with daily variety and challenge.
- Willing to explain technical issues in a simple, clear way to non-technical clients.
Benefits:
- A tool allowance and discounts on parts — because we want you to have the best gear.
- Safety-first mindset — we don’t cut corners, and neither should you.
- Work with a crew that knows how to have fun — mechanic humor is a real thing.
- A culture that celebrates skill, dedication, and a job well done.
- A chance to make a real difference in people’s lives — one car at a time.
You’ll gradually be trusted with more — suspension work, diagnostics, even customer test drives if that’s your goal. You’ll be treated like a learner, not a laborer — with time, tools, and training that help you build skill, not just sweat. ” You’ll log each job with accuracy and clarity, making it easy for the next tech or the front desk to pick up where you left off. You’ll start to feel when a brake pedal is “off,” hear when a belt’s about to go, and know when a customer’s story means more than what’s on the dash. You’ll receive regular feedback and ongoing support as you grow — because no one becomes a real tech alone. You’ll work with people who want you to succeed — not compete — and who remember what it felt like to pick up a torque wrench for the first time. You’ll stop feeling like “just another number at work” — and start building a career that uses your hands, your mind, and your pride together. If you believe a great mechanic is measured by consistency, honesty, and pride in the work — you’ll feel right at home here.
