You’ll perform oil changes, brake jobs, suspension work, and engine diagnostics with consistency, care, and clear documentation. You’ll be trained by experienced techs who don’t care what you look like — they care how you torque a bolt, run diagnostics, and ask the right questions. You’ll inspect vehicles thoroughly, explain findings honestly, and never guess when safety is on the line. You’ll rotate tires, change filters, top off fluids, inspect brakes — and understand what’s happening, not just “do the task. You’ll complete repairs efficiently without cutting corners — because quality always outranks speed in our shop. You’ll work on real customer cars and be trusted to assist with real repairs — knowing you’ve got backup when you need it. You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes (safely), and learn the difference between guessing and diagnosing.

Basic Qualifications:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues in passenger vehicles and light trucks using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Test drive vehicles before and after service to confirm repairs and ensure proper function and performance.
• Monitor for recurring issues or recall-related problems and notify customers or service writers accordingly.
• Order parts as needed or coordinate with parts departments to ensure timely access to required components.
• Remain calm and solution-focused when facing complex or intermittent issues that require in-depth testing.

Preferred:

• Can work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop environment.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers or service advisors about findings and estimates.
• Familiar with using diagnostic tools such as OBD-II scanners, multimeters, and pressure gauges.
• Can recommend preventative maintenance based on mileage, wear, or driving conditions.
• Wants to grow into roles like Lead Technician, Shop Foreman, or Service Manager.
