Description:

We’re looking for a Web Designer Trainee who’s eager to bring websites to life — no experience needed, just visual thinking, digital curiosity, and a passion for crafting user-friendly interfaces. You’ll assist in designing website layouts, homepage mockups, and user flows under the guidance of experienced designers. We’ll teach you how to work with style guides, design systems, and brand guidelines to stay visually consistent. You’ll support the design of homepages, product pages, blog layouts, and other common web patterns. Expect to work with real content — not lorem ipsum — so you can design around actual user needs and behaviors. You’ll help design CTAs, headers, footers, and other key UI sections that drive engagement and conversions. We’ll guide you through UX fundamentals like simplicity, readability, and reducing friction. You’ll participate in feedback sessions where you’ll learn how to iterate quickly and defend your creative choices. We’ll help you gather feedback from users or stakeholders and adjust your designs accordingly.

Basic Qualifications:

• Collaborate with developers to ensure your designs are implemented accurately and responsively.
• Be open to collaboration, critique, and iteration—it’s part of the craft.
• Communicate clearly with remote or cross-functional teams about priorities and expectations.
• Test your designs with real users or internal reviews to uncover usability issues.
• Adapt layouts for mobile, tablet, and desktop with pixel-perfect precision.

Preferred:

• Can contribute to or maintain a design system with reusable components and UI patterns.
• Can manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and brand standards.
• Able to interpret creative briefs, mood boards, or analytics data into meaningful visual decisions.
• Capable of designing landing pages, blogs, e-commerce layouts, or marketing websites from scratch.
• Knows how to optimize design assets for fast load times and clean visual presentation.
