Description:

We’re hiring a Security Guard Trainee for a residential complex — ideal for someone who’s polite, observant, and ready to keep tenants feeling safe and supported around the clock. You’ll begin by shadowing experienced guards to understand patrol routes, entry procedures, and incident response protocols. You’ll be trained to monitor surveillance systems in low-traffic periods, watching for suspicious movement or activity after hours. You’ll support emergency procedures including guiding people to exits, helping with evacuations, and alerting supervisors if issues arise. You’ll support lost-and-found services, helping reunite customers with lost belongings or assisting distressed visitors. You’ll learn how to recognize signs of unauthorized entry, property damage, or suspicious activity and report them promptly. You’ll learn to interact with retail staff, cleaning teams, and mall management to keep daily operations smooth. You’ll be shown how to politely enforce rules like no smoking, no loitering, and keeping walkways clear. You’ll help monitor fencing, exits, and temporary structures for safety and security risks.

Basic Qualifications:

• Respond diplomatically but firmly when confronting suspicious or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor fire panels, emergency exits, and other safety systems as part of routine checks.
• Enforce company policies regarding restricted areas, visitor conduct, or safety regulations.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and fences to ensure they’re properly secured.
• Deter theft, vandalism, or unsafe behavior through a visible and professional presence.

Preferred:

• Pays attention to unusual activity, suspicious behavior, or safety hazards and reports incidents promptly.
• Values responsibility, vigilance, and professionalism in every shift.
• Valid security license or guard card (if required by local regulations) and familiarity with basic security procedures.
• Enjoys helping people feel safe and ensuring order in dynamic environments.
• Capable of collaborating with law enforcement or emergency responders when needed.
