Description:

We’re hiring a Truck Driver Trainee — no prior freight experience needed, just a valid license, a responsible attitude, and the desire to build a real career behind the wheel. You don’t need experience — just a valid license, a clean record, and the willingness to show up, learn fast, and take responsibility seriously. You’ll start by riding along with experienced drivers, learning how to inspect the truck, check the load, and prepare for the road ahead. You’ll spend the first weeks in guided training: how to inspect a vehicle, read delivery paperwork, manage fuel, and plan smart routes. You’ll be trained in how to inspect your truck before and after each trip, keeping safety first whether it’s 5am or midnight. You’ll ride with experienced drivers who’ll guide you through real deliveries — showing you how to stay calm in traffic, on schedule, and on point. You’ll be taught how to talk with dispatch, stay organized, and solve problems calmly when schedules or weather don’t go your way. You’ll be trained in safety protocols, weight limits, road signs, and how to navigate industrial areas with confidence, not fear. You’ll be expected to plan routes, adapt to detours, and handle delays with calm and common sense.

Basic Qualifications:

• Keep truck interiors clean and presentable—especially when interacting with customers during regular deliveries.
• Maintain accurate logs of hours, mileage, fuel, and deliveries using ELD systems or paper logs as required by law.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips—checking brakes, lights, tires, fluid levels, and cargo security in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Load and unload cargo as required—ensuring proper weight distribution, secure fastening, and damage prevention.
• Communicate clearly with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding arrival times, delays, or special delivery instructions.

Preferred:

• Understands how to read delivery instructions, manifests, and route sheets accurately.
• Able to communicate with dispatch, warehouse staff, and clients in a professional manner.
• Willing to complete company training programs and meet safety benchmarks.
• Familiar with using GPS devices, electronic logging devices (ELDs), or routing apps.
• Familiar with freight types including dry goods, refrigerated, flatbed, or hazardous materials (if endorsed).
