Description:

We’re looking for a Film Director with a strong artistic voice and the ability to bring unique, emotionally grounded stories to life — someone who can see the invisible structure behind every frame and elevate it with vision and soul. You’ll be the creative force behind our productions, responsible for translating scripts into compelling visual journeys across genres and formats. You’ll collaborate with writers to refine character arcs and ensure every scene serves the story’s deeper themes. On set, you’ll guide actors with empathy and clarity, helping them uncover the emotional truth of each moment. You’ll work closely with DPs and production designers to craft a distinct visual style that enhances the narrative without overpowering it. You’ll actively participate in pre-production, including location scouting, casting, visual referencing, and scheduling. You’ll be deeply involved in pre-production, including shot lists, mood boards, color palettes, and visual research. You’ll be responsible for managing rehearsals, communicating the emotional beats of each scene, and adapting quickly when things shift in the moment. On set, you’ll maintain momentum, focus, and morale while ensuring artistic integrity is never compromised.

Basic Qualifications:

• Keep the crew inspired, focused, and aligned—even when energy dips after long days.
• Lead the creative direction of the film, making decisions on tone, pacing, casting, and style.
• Give constructive, respectful direction to both cast and crew to get the best results.
• Represent the film at festivals, press events, and in promotional interviews when needed.
• Maintain a clear vision while staying flexible enough to adapt to unexpected moments of brilliance.

Preferred:

• Willing to collaborate with writers, producers, and creative teams from concept to final cut.
• Strong storytelling ability with a clear vision and command over cinematic language, pacing, and tone.
• Experience directing short films, commercials, music videos, or narrative projects from pre-production to post.
• Experience reviewing dailies, guiding editors, and overseeing the post-production process.
• Proficient in planning shot lists, blocking scenes, and collaborating on camera movement, lighting, and composition.
