We’re looking for a Remote Onboarding Specialist who knows how to make new hires feel like part of the team — even from miles away. You believe the first week at a company should be exciting, not confusing. Whether it's prepping equipment shipments or coordinating intro calls, you’ll handle it all with care and clarity. From tools access to team intros, you’ll handle the details that make the difference between “confused” and “confident. This role is part guide, part organizer, and part cheerleader — because a great start matters. You’ll prepare welcome kits, create helpful onboarding docs, and make sure everyone knows what’s next. You’ll create checklists, FAQs, and onboarding documents that answer questions before they’re asked. You’ll partner with different departments to align onboarding with real-world workflows and expectations. Basic Qualifications:

• Use tools like Slack, Zoom, BambooHR, Gusto, or custom dashboards to automate and streamline onboarding tasks.
• Identify roadblocks or bottlenecks in the onboarding flow and work with relevant teams to fix them.
• Host virtual orientation sessions to walk new hires through company values, tools, communication norms, and key contacts.
• Track onboarding progress using checklists or tools like Notion, Trello, or an HRIS, and follow up as needed.
• Schedule team introductions, mentorship pairings, or social calls to help new hires connect and build relationships quickly.

Preferred:

• Has a warm, supportive tone that makes new hires feel valued and prepared.
• Enjoys creating structure and helping others feel informed and connected.
• Comfortable working across time zones and coordinating asynchronously.
