Description:

We’re offering a Sales Assistant Internship for someone who’s ready to learn by doing — someone curious, reliable, and eager to see how retail works from the inside out. You’ll start by observing how team members greet customers, answer questions, and recommend products that fit real needs. You’ll be trained on using point-of-sale systems, processing payments, and handling refunds with care and professionalism. You’ll learn how to stock shelves, maintain store displays, and keep the retail space clean, organized, and inviting. You’ll be taught how to listen actively, read customer needs, and offer recommendations that genuinely help — not just sell. We’ll teach you how to approach upselling ethically — offering relevant suggestions without being pushy. You’ll see how experienced staff handle complaints, offer solutions, and turn tough moments into positive ones. You’ll work under supervision, but you’ll also have opportunities to take initiative and suggest small improvements. You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, take notes, and actively observe how experienced staff handle different customer needs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Help unpack and organize new stock deliveries in a timely and accurate manner.
• Answer questions about products, promotions, or return policies with confidence and clarity.
• Report low stock or customer feedback to supervisors to help improve operations.
• Respond calmly to customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
• Stay informed on product knowledge, seasonal trends, and current promotions.

Preferred:

• Open to upselling, cross-selling, and promoting new arrivals or featured products.
• Able to multitask during busy periods, especially weekends or sales events.
• Enjoys helping people find what they need and improving the shopping experience.
• Understands the importance of a welcoming atmosphere and great first impressions.
• Open to flexible working hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
