Description:

We’re hiring a Cleaner Trainee to support hygiene and safety in a healthcare environment, where cleanliness directly impacts patient well-being. You’ll start by learning daily cleaning procedures for clinics, exam rooms, corridors, and waiting areas, all under strict sanitation guidelines. You’ll assist in disinfecting surfaces such as beds, examination tables, door handles, and medical equipment covers. You’ll be trained on how to clean screens, keyboards, and office equipment carefully without damaging sensitive surfaces. You’ll help manage waste — sorting general, recyclable, and medical waste according to hospital policy. You’ll learn how to clean restrooms thoroughly, refill supplies, and leave them spotless for morning visitors. ) and be taught how to remove and replace it safely. You’ll learn how to mop and sanitize floors using hospital-approved cleaning agents and specialized tools. You’ll help restock supplies like hand sanitizers, soap dispensers, tissues, and disposable bed sheets.

Basic Qualifications:

• Empty trash bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste following health and safety regulations.
• Show up on time, stay organized, and be someone others can rely on every day.
• Wear appropriate protective gear like gloves or masks as needed for specific tasks.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely, following all label instructions and guidelines.
• Follow checklists to ensure all assigned areas are cleaned thoroughly and consistently.

Preferred:

• Follows safety and hygiene protocols including wearing gloves, masks, and appropriate footwear.
• Able to handle cleaning tasks in a variety of environments such as offices, schools, hospitals, or hotels.
• Values cleanliness, reliability, and efficiency in everyday work.
• Capable of identifying maintenance issues such as leaks, broken fixtures, or safety hazards during routine cleaning.
• Understands how to use cleaning products safely, including proper dilution, storage, and labeling.
