Description:

We’re hiring an Illustrator Trainee who’s passionate about turning abstract ideas into clear, expressive visuals — no prior experience needed, just creativity, patience, and a love for drawing. You’ll assist in developing visual assets for digital and print projects, including characters, icons, backgrounds, and editorial pieces. We’ll teach you how to translate briefs into visuals, develop rough concepts, and refine your sketches into clean, purposeful art. You’ll assist in creating characters, environments, and decorative elements that reflect tone, audience, and style direction. Expect to learn how to simplify complex ideas visually while keeping your work lively, relatable, and well-balanced. You’ll gain experience working with tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, Fresco, or traditional sketching — whatever your style is, we’ll help refine it. You’ll assist in creating thumbnails, sketches, and polished pieces while practicing clean file structure and layer organization. You’ll learn how to adapt your style when needed — whether minimalist, playful, detailed, or expressive. You’ll participate in team critiques, client presentations, and collaborative visual exploration.

Basic Qualifications:

• Organize your asset libraries and templates for future reuse and efficiency.
• Develop character designs, scenes, icons, infographics, or decorative elements as needed.
• Maintain version control and backup your files so no good art ever gets lost.
• Use tools like Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Clip Studio Paint to produce high-quality artwork.
• Be proud of your craft—your illustrations are often the first thing people notice.

Preferred:

• Wants to grow into roles like Lead Illustrator, Art Director, or Visual Storyteller.
• Background or passion in illustration, visual arts, graphic design, or animation.
• Values creativity, originality, and clarity in every piece of visual work.
• Familiar with licensing terms, usage rights, and contracts in freelance or in-house settings.
• Knows how to prepare print-ready files with bleed, trim, and CMYK profiles.
