We’re hiring a Manicurist Trainee to join our eco-friendly nail studio — ideal for someone who values wellness, sustainability, and gentle, natural nail care. You’ll start by learning how to prep natural nails properly for long-lasting extensions and designs. You’ll assist in setting up temporary stations in homes, offices, and events — ensuring cleanliness, comfort, and lighting. You’ll be trained in natural strengthening treatments using plant-based serums and mineral-rich bases. You’ll learn how to file, shape, and buff nails to perfection, paying close attention to symmetry and polish application. You’ll assist in preparing herbal soaks, warm oil wraps, and hand massages that restore rather than strip the skin. You’ll support nail art prep — mixing custom gel colors, cleaning brushes, organizing stones, and preparing foil, stickers, and pigments. You’ll observe how to work with small brushes, dotting tools, and magnets to create high-impact looks. You’ll help educate clients on aftercare, nail nutrition, and how to maintain healthy hands between visits.

Basic Qualifications:

• Prepare and mix products like acrylic powder or gel builder accurately before application.
• Recommend nail treatments, colors, or styles based on client needs and current trends.
• Listen actively to clients to create a welcoming, relaxing, and personalized experience.
• Follow local health regulations, licensing requirements, and salon policies at all times.
• Recognize and advise on signs of nail or skin conditions that may require medical attention.

Preferred:

• Able to maintain detailed records of client preferences, allergies, and past services.
• Capable of working with clients who have sensitive skin, allergies, or special care requirements.
• Open to handling back-to-back appointments and peak salon hours with professionalism and patience.
• Knowledge of current trends in nail art, seasonal designs, and customer style preferences.
• Pays attention to timing to ensure services are delivered efficiently without rushing quality.
