Description:

We’re hiring an Industrial Painter to apply protective coatings to metal, concrete, and machinery — perfect for someone who’s safety-conscious, physically strong, and precise with tools and technique. You’ll work in factories, warehouses, bridges, and shipyards applying primers, epoxies, and specialty coatings that protect equipment and infrastructure from wear and corrosion. You’ll work on ladders, scaffolding, or suspended platforms, always following safety procedures for height and fall protection. You’ll follow client instructions and color specs to match tones, textures, and finishes exactly as requested. You’ll help set up and break down containment areas, scaffolding, and ventilation systems before and after each job. You’ll assist in mixing paints and matching colors using digital tools or traditional formulas. You’ll follow blueprints, facade diagrams, or site markings to know which surfaces and trims require coating. You’ll help mask windows, fixtures, signage, and landscaping before spray applications or splatter-prone techniques. You’ll rotate between base coats, trim work, ceilings, and accent walls depending on the room and material needs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Collaborate with construction crews, electricians, or other trades to coordinate work timelines.
• Work on both interior and exterior painting projects across residential, commercial, or industrial sites.
• Inspect completed work for touch-ups or inconsistencies and make adjustments as needed.
• Be punctual and professional, respecting client property and working efficiently within deadlines.
• Clean tools and work areas thoroughly after each job to maintain professional standards.

Preferred:

• Pays strong attention to detail to ensure clean lines, even coverage, and minimal drips or streaks.
• Able to mix and match paint colors accurately and apply coatings based on specifications or client preferences.
• Willing to assist in estimating material quantities, timelines, and labor requirements for painting jobs.
• Willing to work in occupied spaces respectfully, maintaining a clean and quiet work environment.
• Background or interest in construction, property maintenance, or decorative finishes.

You’ll use ladders, scaffolding, and safety gear while working at height or in tight corners. You’ll help clean brushes, rollers, trays, and workspaces at the end of each shift, leaving the site tidy and professional. You’ll assist with loading and unloading paint materials, tools, and job site supplies. You’ll be expected to work efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail and clean lines. You’ll receive consistent hours and opportunities to move up into team lead or foreman roles over time. You’ll work outdoors and indoors in loud, dirty, or extreme environments — including height or tight space work.
