Description:

We’re offering an Animator Trainee role for someone who’s excited to turn ideas into movement and still images into performance — no prior experience needed, just passion, discipline, and a love for animated storytelling. You’ll assist our animation team in creating believable, expressive motion for characters across games, cutscenes, or short films. We’ll teach you core animation principles, frame-by-frame thinking, and how to make motion support narrative and emotion. You’ll work with animation blueprints, state machines, and export pipelines for game engines like Unity or Unreal. Expect to use tools like Blender, Maya, or Spine depending on the project style and pipeline. We’ll guide you in understanding staging, silhouette readability, and how to make action readable even at a glance. We’ll guide you in using tools like Maya, Blender, or Spine to deliver clean, rigged animation data. You’ll participate in feedback sessions where we refine motion together — based on flow, rhythm, and intention. Expect to help with animation cleanup, cycle tuning, and ensuring actions blend well with mechanics and feedback.

Basic Qualifications:

• Troubleshoot timing issues, bugs, or rigging problems during implementation.
• Stay current with animation trends, new techniques, and tools to improve your craft.
• Contribute to team brainstorming sessions with movement-driven storytelling ideas.
• Balance creativity with production timelines—you know when “good enough” is actually perfect.
• Maintain a high attention to detail, especially in fast-paced or high-volume pipelines.

Preferred:

• Comfortable animating characters, objects, UI elements, or environments depending on the project needs.
• Values movement as a storytelling tool and emotional amplifier.
• Organized with file management, version control, and layer naming conventions for collaboration.
• Familiar with rendering pipelines, asset exporting, and delivering files in required formats and resolutions.
• Thrives in fast-paced, creative environments where animation drives viewer engagement.
