Description:

We’re seeking an Architect Trainee who dreams of designing spaces that are not only beautiful, but purposeful — no prior experience required, just a strong design sense and eagerness to learn. You’ll assist in creating floor plans, massing studies, and digital models that support early design exploration. We’ll show you how to take abstract ideas and turn them into site-responsive, functional design proposals. You’ll help translate early sketches into digital models using tools like AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp. Expect to work with design tools like Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, and Photoshop — we’ll support your learning every step of the way. You’ll be part of internal reviews where projects are shaped through discussion, iteration, and creative tension. We’ll show you how to evaluate lighting, circulation, and functionality in each design iteration. You’ll participate in internal reviews, giving and receiving feedback to sharpen your creative instincts. You’ll participate in team critiques, where your ideas will be challenged and shaped in a collaborative spirit.

Basic Qualifications:

• Translate client needs into sketches, plans, and moodboards that reflect their vision and budget.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and landscape consultants for seamless integration.
• Present concepts to stakeholders with clarity, whether it’s a sketch or a full 3D walkthrough.
• Balance innovation with constraints like cost, space, and environmental impact.
• Reflect on past designs to improve future work—every project is a teacher.

Preferred:

• Thrives in design-focused, collaborative studios where creativity meets practicality.
• Background or degree in architecture, urban planning, or environmental design.
• Proficient in CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or ArchiCAD.
• Understands how to balance aesthetics, functionality, and client requirements within budget constraints.
• Organized with project timelines, drawing sets, and design development workflows.
