Description:

We’re hiring a Musician / Composer Trainee to help us create original soundtracks, jingles, and background scores — no experience needed, just musical passion and a good ear. You don’t need a degree or studio experience — just creativity, rhythm, and a desire to make music that resonates. You’ll support our audio team by crafting melodies, experimenting with chord progressions, and creating mood-driven soundscapes. We’ll show you how to break down a creative brief, find the right tempo, and match music to emotion and pacing. Expect to work with both real and virtual instruments — whichever tools bring your sound to life. We’ll teach you how to use silence, texture, rhythm, and repetition as storytelling tools. We’ll introduce you to sound syncing, beat mapping, and how to time your tracks to visuals. You’ll assist in organizing sessions, tracking versions, and exporting clean audio for different platforms. Expect to work with software like Cubase, GarageBand, or Reaper — no worries if you’ve never used them, we’ll show you how.

Basic Qualifications:

• Translate abstract direction (“make it feel nostalgic but hopeful”) into musical ideas.
• Edit, mix, and master tracks so they’re production-ready and polished.
• Arrange and orchestrate music for different instruments, voices, or ensembles.
• Sync music to visuals by hitting emotional beats, pacing, or transitions accurately.
• Keep backups of your work—technical failure should never mean lost creativity.

Preferred:

• Enjoys experimenting with harmony, melody, and rhythm to shape unique musical identities.
• Enjoys writing both standalone compositions and music that supports narratives or visual content.
• Willing to maintain a catalog of royalty-free or client-owned work for reuse and pitching.
• Background or strong passion in music composition, performance, sound design, or film scoring.
• Can manage timelines for demo submission, revisions, and final delivery professionally.
