Description:

We’re hiring an Emergency Locksmith to respond to urgent lockouts, break-ins, and high-priority service calls — perfect for someone who’s calm under pressure, fast with their hands, and ready to help when it matters most. You’ll be dispatched to homes, businesses, and vehicles at all hours to assist clients who are locked out, locked in, or facing security breaches. You’ll use lock-picking tools, bypass devices, extractors, and drills to gain access without causing damage whenever possible. You’ll connect smart devices to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, set up mobile apps, and walk clients through how to use their new system. You’ll use mechanical and electronic tools to diagnose issues, drill locks when necessary, and replace damaged components. You’ll install and program digital locks, keypad systems, or smart locks depending on client needs and access type. You’ll document all services provided, verify vehicle ownership, and ensure all security protocols are followed at every job. You’ll rotate between scheduled maintenance, installation projects, and urgent security calls based on your weekly route. You’ll maintain a clean, branded appearance and be ready to explain features in a friendly and clear way.

Basic Qualifications:

• Train apprentices or junior locksmiths in proper techniques and industry ethics.
• Maintain detailed service records, invoices, and logs of key codes or lock types when required.
• Handle safes, vaults, or secure storage units, including safe cracking when legally authorized.
• Provide security assessments for homes, businesses, or vehicles and suggest improvements.
• Cut new keys, rekey existing locks, and program electronic or smart locking systems.

Preferred:

• Willing to respond to emergency calls, including lockouts, lost keys, or broken locks, often after hours or on weekends.
• Willing to advise clients on upgrading lock systems, access control, or home/business security solutions.
• Willing to assist with safe moving, lock retrofits, or large building rekeying projects.
• Able to install or service door closers, panic bars, master key systems, and high-security lock systems.
• Enjoys working with their hands, solving puzzles, and restoring access or peace of mind.
