We’re hiring a Freelance Resume Writer who can take an ordinary work history and turn it into a powerful personal brand. You’ll craft resumes that not only list responsibilities but tell compelling, achievement-focused stories. You know how to distill years of experience into powerful bullet points that recruiters notice instantly. Your job is to highlight what matters, cut what doesn’t, and structure everything for impact and clarity. We’re looking for someone who can adapt their tone and structure depending on the client’s industry and goals. Whether it’s an entry-level graduate or a seasoned executive, you’ll know how to make their strengths shine. You’ll take messy drafts, scattered notes, or LinkedIn profiles and turn them into polished, professional resumes. You won’t just write resumes — you’ll educate clients about their value in the job market. You’ll communicate directly with clients, offering insights and revisions that build trust and clarity.

Basic Qualifications:

• Coach clients on how to use their new resumes—when to tweak, what to highlight, and how to stand out in applications.
• Respond quickly and professionally to client inquiries, edits, or follow-ups—even if the project’s complete.
• Create templates or process docs to streamline intake, drafts, and delivery as your workload grows.
• Gather information through intake forms, Zoom calls, or written notes to deeply understand each client’s career story.
• Translate technical or complex experience into plain, compelling language that resonates with recruiters and hiring managers.

Preferred:

• Open to feedback from clients and able to revise drafts collaboratively.
• Knows how to write compelling professional summaries and bullet points.
• Familiar with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and how to optimize resumes for keyword matching.
• Wants to help people tell their career story in a strategic and confident way.
• Capable of adapting writing style to match tone — professional, creative, or executive.
