Description:

We’re looking for a WordPress Assistant who can jump in and keep things running like a well-oiled machine — from content updates to plugin management and everything in between. You’ve probably spent hours inside the WordPress dashboard, adjusting layouts, formatting posts, uploading media, and making sure pages look just right. You’ve probably used Elementor, Gutenberg, or other page builders, and you know how to make edits without breaking the design. You’re comfortable handling basic customizations with HTML and CSS, and you’re not afraid to dive into a plugin’s settings to get things just right. You understand the basics of SEO, how to compress images without sacrificing quality, and why backups and plugin updates really matter. You don’t need to be a full-stack developer, but you understand the basics of how WordPress runs — and when to Google the rest.

Basic Qualifications:

• Use staging environments to test updates or new features before applying them to production.
• Support SEO efforts by optimizing on-page elements like alt text, meta descriptions, permalinks, and heading structure.
• Assist in creating landing pages or blog layouts that are responsive and match branding guidelines.
• Keep the media library clean by compressing, labeling, and organizing image files for performance and accessibility.
• Provide basic support to content creators or clients on how to navigate and use the admin dashboard.

Preferred:

• Experience editing content, pages, or blog posts within the WordPress dashboard.
• Familiarity with popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Understands how to manage media files, categories, tags, and menus.
• Can handle light design tweaks using themes and theme customizers.
• Knows how to back up a site or create staging environments with plugins like UpdraftPlus or WP Staging.
