Description:
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Online Job Application Assistant to support job seekers through the application process. You’ll assist clients in finding relevant job opportunities, tailoring their applications to each specific role. You’ll guide clients through each section of online job applications, ensuring they’re filled out properly and accurately. You’ll track job applications, set reminders for follow-up actions, and ensure deadlines are met. You’ll provide guidance on how to approach different types of job applications and optimize profiles on platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed. You’ll help clients optimize their LinkedIn profiles and other online platforms to maximize visibility to recruiters. You’ll assist with LinkedIn profile optimization, making sure job seekers are visible and appealing to recruiters. You’ll also help job seekers prepare for interviews, offering tips and strategies for success. You’ll work closely with clients, providing support and advice throughout their job search journey, from application to interview.
Basic Qualifications:
- Respect client confidentiality—treat all resumes, job info, and login credentials with care and discretion.
- Ensure clients avoid common mistakes like duplicate submissions, missing information, or applying to outdated listings.
- Use job alert tools, keyword filters, and boolean search to discover relevant roles efficiently.
- Draft templates for emails, thank-you notes, or follow-up messages clients can send after applying or interviewing.
- Help clients identify relevant job openings based on their background, career goals, and preferences (e.g., remote, industry, seniority).
Preferred:
- Familiar with job boards like LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and niche hiring platforms.
- Able to adjust tone and messaging for different industries, roles, or seniority levels.
- Able to identify strong job matches based on a candidate’s experience, skills, and preferences.
- Pays attention to detail when filling out application forms to avoid errors or inconsistencies.
- Can schedule and manage interview appointments, reminders, or calendar invites.
