Description:
We’re looking for a reliable and accurate Data Entry Specialist to help manage and organize critical company data. You’ll be responsible for inputting data into systems, ensuring that all entries are accurate, complete, and up to date. You’ll ensure that all data entries are accurate, complete, and updated in a timely manner to maintain data integrity. You’ll work with spreadsheets, forms, and other tools to manage, organize, and store large amounts of data efficiently. You’ll ensure that all entered data is compliant with relevant privacy and confidentiality regulations. You’ll work with spreadsheets, databases, and other software tools to organize, store, and manage data effectively. You’ll perform regular audits of the data to identify inconsistencies or errors and take corrective action where necessary. You’ll assist in maintaining data accuracy by conducting regular audits and making necessary updates or corrections.
Basic Qualifications:
- Support migration projects—moving data from legacy systems into new databases without data loss.
- Ask questions early if data formatting, instructions, or platform behavior seems unclear.
- Use tools like Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable, or custom platforms to input and organize data efficiently.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, HR, operations) that rely on accurate data for decision-making.
- Maintain logs of tasks completed and report progress regularly to supervisors or project managers.
Preferred:
- Familiar with basic keyboard shortcuts and productivity tools that speed up workflow.
- Experience entering and updating data into spreadsheets, databases, or CRM systems.
- Understands the importance of formatting, consistency, and eliminating duplicates.
- Enjoys supporting teams by keeping data organized, current, and reliable.
- Able to verify source data for accuracy before input and flag inconsistencies.
