Description:

We’re looking for an Interior Designer who understands how to make a space feel like home — someone who listens deeply, designs with empathy, and creates environments that reflect people’s lives and stories. You’ll take full ownership of interior projects from concept to completion, collaborating with clients to understand needs, preferences, and goals. We expect you to translate abstract ideas into practical layouts, spatial logic, and visually balanced interiors. You’ll interpret client goals into cohesive spatial experiences, weaving together light, material, texture, and proportion. You’ll collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to align your vision with building constraints and timelines. You’ll coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure your designs are implemented as planned. You’ll attend site walkthroughs, adapt to on-site realities, and ensure every detail meets your standards. We’ll count on you to balance budget, function, and form — making smart decisions without compromising beauty. You’ll also help clients see possibilities they never imagined — then show them how to make it real.

Basic Qualifications:

• Document and organize your projects for portfolio use and future client references.
• Be the calm expert in high-stress moments like move-in days or tight turnarounds.
• Take detailed measurements and assess the spatial potential of residential or commercial interiors.
• Source unique or custom furnishings and finishes that elevate the space.
• Manage timelines and budgets across multiple ongoing projects.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and health & safety regulations.
• Values beauty, functionality, and human-centered thinking in every space designed.
• Open to designing for various styles—from minimalist and modern to boho, traditional, or eclectic.
• Background or strong passion in interior design, architecture, spatial planning, or environmental design.
• Able to work with high-end or budget-conscious projects while maintaining design integrity.

You’ll also educate clients on options, guide them through choices, and help them feel confident and inspired throughout the process.
