We’re looking for a Barista Trainee who’s eager to learn the art and rhythm of coffee-making while delivering a warm, welcoming experience to every guest. You’ll help set up the coffee truck at different locations — from early morning office spots to weekend markets and events. You’ll greet regulars by name, remembering their go-to orders and making their mornings smoother with quick, friendly service. You’ll be trained to take customer orders with accuracy, a smile, and a genuine interest in what they enjoy. You’ll learn to multitask — pulling shots, steaming milk, and chatting with customers, all in tight spaces and changing environments. You’ll support keeping the workspace tidy — wiping counters, washing tools, and helping with dish rotation during rushes. You’ll help manage inventory on the go, making sure we never run out of essentials like ice, lids, or oat milk. You’ll get familiar with how to pace yourself during busy hours and stay efficient without sacrificing quality or care. You’ll learn how to prep cold brews, batch lattes, and handle bulk drink orders without compromising quality.

Basic Qualifications:

• Learn customer names and preferences to build a friendly, community-driven environment.
• Keep track of ingredient levels and restock supplies like beans, syrups, cups, and napkins as needed.
• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure quality and customer health.
• Customize drinks based on preferences—milk alternatives, extra shots, flavors, or temperatures.
• Stay calm and friendly during busy hours, managing multiple drink orders at once.

Preferred:

• Able to follow drink recipes accurately while offering speed and consistency during high-volume hours.
• Pays attention to allergen safety, cross-contamination, and customer dietary preferences.
• Wants to grow into roles like Shift Lead, Head Barista, or Café Manager.
• Enjoys creating small moments of connection with every cup served.
• Willing to assist with food prep, pastry display, and light cleaning duties during slow periods.
