Description:

We’re hiring a diligent Game Tester to join our team and help ensure our games meet the highest quality standards before release. You’ll be responsible for playing through various games, identifying bugs, glitches, and any other issues affecting gameplay. You’ll work closely with the development team to identify and document bugs, glitches, and other technical issues affecting gameplay. You’ll work closely with the development team to report issues, prioritize them, and track fixes through to completion. You’ll be tasked with playing games across multiple platforms, ensuring compatibility and performance consistency across devices. You’ll provide feedback on gameplay mechanics, level design, and player progression to help enhance the gaming experience. You’ll help test new features, patches, and updates, ensuring all changes work properly and do not cause new issues. You’ll ensure the game’s performance is up to standard, testing for crashes, slowdowns, or any performance issues across different systems.

Basic Qualifications:

• Balance fun and focus—game testing is playing with purpose, not just playing for fun.
• Be patient and persistent—some bugs are rare and require repetition or creativity to uncover.
• Help verify that trophies, achievements, and in-game purchases trigger correctly and match documentation.
• Be flexible and ready to test different genres, mechanics, or platforms depending on the project.
• Ultimately, help ship high-quality games by ensuring they work, feel good, and don’t crash right before the final boss.

Preferred:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot bugs, glitches, and inconsistencies during gameplay.
• Able to test gameplay mechanics, UI, audio, performance, and localization issues.
• Experience testing or playing a variety of games across platforms (PC, console, mobile).
• Excited to work on games they love and contribute to better releases.
• Knows how to capture screenshots or video clips for bug evidence and reports.
