Description:
We’re hiring a Caregiver to provide compassionate, dependable support to individuals who need daily assistance — perfect for someone who’s patient, attentive, and driven by the desire to help others live with dignity. You’ll assist with personal care routines such as bathing, changing, repositioning, and mouth care with gentleness and dignity. You’ll prepare light meals, help manage special diets, and ensure regular hydration throughout the day. You’ll support play, learning, and engagement through structured games, routines, or creative exploration depending on the child’s interests. You’ll provide emotional presence — sitting quietly, holding hands, listening, or simply being there when words aren’t needed. You’ll be trained to recognize signs of pain, restlessness, or decline and respond promptly with grace and alertness. You’ll document sleep quality, incidents, or changes in condition that occurred during the shift. You’ll monitor signs of fatigue, overstimulation, or discomfort, adapting the environment or pace as needed. You’ll support families by offering updates, reassurance, or simply relieving them for a few hours of rest.
Basic Qualifications:
- Communicate clearly and kindly with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Adapt to different personalities, medical conditions, and family dynamics with patience.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities if transportation is needed.
- Use equipment like walkers, lifts, or safety rails properly and safely.
- Go the extra mile, whether that’s remembering a favorite meal or just sitting and listening.
Preferred:
- Thrives in nurturing, client-centered environments where patience and care make a real difference.
- Team-oriented and willing to coordinate with family caregivers, nurses, or care managers.
- Organized with tracking routines, monitoring behaviors, and documenting changes for healthcare providers or family members.
- Willing to perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean living environment.
- Pays close attention to hygiene, skin care, and dietary needs based on client routines or medical recommendations.
Benefits:
- A safe, supportive environment — we ensure you’re working in conditions that prioritize both your and the client's safety.
- Mentorship opportunities — more experienced caregivers are here to guide you along the way.
- Training and development — we provide regular opportunities to learn new skills and techniques that benefit both you and your clients.
- Opportunities to grow — whether through additional training or advancing into a specialized role, we support your career.
- Flexibility to work part-time, full-time, or as a live-in caregiver, depending on your needs.
You’ll help manage supplies like linens, gloves, comfort aids, and light medical equipment with care and organization. You’ll document daily care activities, mood, and health changes to keep families and supervisors informed. You’ll be expected to manage the shift with minimal noise and maximum attention to detail and emotional sensitivity. You’ll follow ethical guidelines that prioritize client dignity, autonomy, and comfort above all. You’ll work in home settings, private rooms, or residential facilities depending on the client’s location. You’ll document care activities gently and discreetly, maintaining privacy for both client and family. No experience is required — just empathy, patience, and a steady presence that makes others feel safe and respected. If you're ready to help someone age with dignity and comfort, we’re ready to train you and welcome you to our care team. If you’re ready to be the quiet guardian through the night, we’re ready to welcome you into overnight caregiving.
