We’re hiring Firefighter Trainees — not because we need heroes, but because we believe in ordinary people rising to do extraordinary things. You’ll begin with physical training and basic drills — learning how to move in gear, follow orders, and stay calm under pressure. You’ll be shaped by early mornings, heavy gear, and the discipline of those who’ve walked this path before you. We’ll teach you how to handle emergencies, move as a team, and stay sharp when seconds matter. You’ll work as part of a unit, learning to trust your team and earn their trust in return. You’ll master tools that save lives — axes, hoses, radios, ladders — and use them with care and precision. We’ll teach you how to use ladders, hoses, breathing gear, and rescue tools like they’re part of your body. You’ll get certified in emergency medical care, because often you’ll be the first one on scene when someone’s life is on the line. You’ll experience moments of quiet before alarms, the rush of the call, and the clarity that comes when action begins.

Basic Qualifications:

• Perform fire hydrant inspections and maintain familiarity with local layouts.
• Engage with the local community through fire safety talks and school visits.
• Communicate clearly with team members, dispatch, and emergency services during missions.
• Stay physically fit and mentally prepared for high-risk, unpredictable scenarios.
• Be ready to work long, irregular shifts, including nights and weekends.

Preferred:

• Enjoys helping others and making a direct impact in protecting lives and property.
• Willing to work 24-hour shifts, nights, holidays, and weekends as part of a rotation.
• Understands how to assess fire scenes, contain hazards, and prevent further damage.
• Prepared to support search and rescue operations, vehicle extractions, or medical emergencies.
• Familiar with operating and maintaining fire trucks, pumps, and rescue equipment.
