Description:

We’re hiring a Courier Trainee for long-distance and intercity deliveries — someone who’s responsible, focused, and ready to learn how to handle critical shipments across regions. You’ll assist in delivering small packages, contracts, and documents across corporate offices, coworking spaces, and government buildings. You’ll learn how to scan parcels, verify manifests, and double-check addresses before leaving the warehouse. You’ll be trained on how to use delivery apps, navigation tools, and scanning systems to track orders in real time. You’ll drive a planned route, making timely stops at offices, homes, or drop-off points with professionalism and care. You’ll be taught how to handle fragile, high-value, or time-sensitive packages with extra security and attention. You’ll receive safety training related to traffic laws, secure packaging, and lifting techniques to avoid injury. You’ll communicate with dispatch in real time and notify them of successful deliveries or unexpected delays. You’ll receive safety guidance on navigating traffic, avoiding busy intersections, and protecting packages in transit.

Basic Qualifications:

• Inspect and maintain your vehicle or delivery equipment to ensure reliability throughout the day.
• Pick up and deliver packages, documents, or goods safely and on time to specified destinations.
• Handle cash on delivery (COD) transactions or digital confirmations when required.
• Keep your workspace—vehicle, bag, or bike—clean and organized throughout the day.
• Use handheld devices or apps to track deliveries and update job statuses in real time.

Preferred:

• Background or interest in logistics, transport, courier work, or gig delivery apps.
• Willing to assist with basic customer service, answer questions politely, and report delivery issues quickly.
• Wants to grow into roles like Dispatcher, Fleet Coordinator, or Route Manager.
• Pays attention to accuracy when verifying delivery addresses, order details, and recipient information.
• Willing to adhere to time windows, company policies, and delivery service standards consistently.

You’ll keep detailed logs of completed deliveries, including time stamps, recipient names, and any relevant notes. You’ll support the pickup of return documents or packages, ensuring everything is labeled and accounted for. You’ll be taught what to do if a customer isn’t home, can’t answer the phone, or if an address seems incorrect. You’ll get to know your delivery area inside and out, learning shortcuts, traffic patterns, and client preferences. You’ll work independently, but with full support from a remote operations team that tracks your route and safety.
