Description:

We’re looking for a motivated Junior Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to building robust backend services and APIs. You’ll work with experienced developers to build backend infrastructure that ensures smooth communication between servers, databases, and clients. You’ll write clean, reusable code using backend technologies like Node. You’ll write clean, maintainable code using programming languages like Node. You’ll assist in managing databases, ensuring data is stored securely and efficiently, and supporting scalable solutions. You’ll help integrate frontend and backend components, ensuring seamless communication between the server and the client-side. You’ll collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with backend services. You’ll work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure to deploy applications and manage server environments. You’ll collaborate with other developers, participating in code reviews and pair programming to improve your skills.

Basic Qualifications:

• Use version control systems (like Git) to commit code, review changes, and stay in sync with team branches and main builds.
• Be responsible for the parts of the system you touch—think through edge cases, test thoroughly, and aim for long-term maintainability.
• Work closely with senior developers to understand business logic, system architecture, and coding standards.
• Be a team player, stay curious, and contribute consistently—you’re here to learn, improve, and build real things that work.
• Participate in code reviews, retrospectives, and planning meetings to stay involved in the full development lifecycle.

Preferred:

• Familiar with Express.js, Django, Flask, or Spring Boot for building server applications.
• Excited about solving real-world problems using server-side logic and data structures.
• Open to feedback, pair programming, and continuous learning from senior developers.
• Can write clean, readable, and reusable code with comments and basic documentation.
• Has created personal or academic projects involving backend logic or API development.
