We’re welcoming new Kindergarten Teacher Trainees — no teaching degree required, just kindness, patience, and a willingness to grow alongside little learners. You’ll start by supporting lead teachers in creating a safe, joyful, and structured environment where young minds can thrive. We’ll train you step by step — from classroom routines to child safety and early childhood learning basics. You’ll assist lead educators in managing small groups, adapting activities, and creating calm, predictable classroom routines. You’ll learn how to support language, numbers, and motor development through songs, movement, and storytelling. Expect slow progress some days — and the deepest joy when a child makes eye contact, speaks a new word, or joins a group activity for the first time. Expect crayons on the floor, tiny voices calling your name, and moments of pure joy when something finally clicks for a child. You’ll discover how valuable sensory play, imagination, and free choice are in helping young minds grow confidently. We’ll teach you how to track progress, communicate with parents, and adjust to each child’s learning style.

Basic Qualifications:

• Create a warm, welcoming classroom where children feel safe, seen, and curious.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress, behavior, and milestones.
• Be present, observant, and ready to meet kids at their level—emotionally and intellectually.
• Stay updated with early education best practices and child development research.
• Keep the classroom tidy, organized, and stocked with learning materials.

Preferred:

• Comfortable managing a classroom environment with patience, positivity, and consistency.
• Understands how to support early literacy, numeracy, and motor skill development.
• Can prepare teaching materials, visual aids, and interactive games to enhance learning.
• Experience working with young children in a classroom, daycare, or early childhood setting.
• Able to identify early signs of learning difficulties and communicate them to specialists or parents.
