Description:
We’re searching for a Remote Onboarding Specialist who can turn day one jitters into day one excitement. You’ll design onboarding experiences that feel personal, even across screens and time zones. Whether it's prepping equipment shipments or coordinating intro calls, you’ll handle it all with care and clarity. From tools access to team intros, you’ll handle the details that make the difference between “confused” and “confident. You’ll schedule kickoff calls, coordinate orientation materials, and keep everyone in the loop (without overwhelming them). You’re great at sending that one extra follow-up that turns silence into clarity. Clarity, kindness, and timing will be your superpowers. You’ll help reduce first-week jitters by building clear paths, friendly reminders, and human touchpoints into the process. We’re a remote team, so your ability to make virtual feel personal will set the tone for every new hire.
Basic Qualifications:
- Be the friendly face behind the process—someone who makes new hires feel excited, supported, and ready to contribute.
- Coordinate equipment shipments, account setups, and software permissions (even if you don’t do the IT part, you’ll track it).
- Facilitate async onboarding options (videos, docs, checklists) for self-paced learning across time zones.
- Guide new hires through the entire onboarding process, from signing documents to feeling confident in their new role.
- Host virtual orientation sessions to walk new hires through company values, tools, communication norms, and key contacts.
Preferred:
- Experience preparing welcome kits, orientation schedules, and FAQ documents.
- Comfortable working across time zones and coordinating asynchronously.
- Able to explain procedures, tools, and company culture in a clear, welcoming way.
- Pays attention to detail when collecting forms, IDs, and legal documentation.
- Experience guiding new hires or clients through onboarding processes remotely.
