We’re hiring a Public Relations Specialist Trainee who’s ready to dive into the world of storytelling, reputation management, and brand communication — no experience required, just strong writing skills and a curious, collaborative attitude. You’ll help shape how the world sees a brand by assisting in crafting press releases, pitches, and strategic messaging. We’ll teach you how to monitor brand mentions, track media coverage, and spot opportunities for positive exposure. You’ll help pitch stories to media outlets and learn how to tailor your message for different platforms and audiences. Expect to contribute to campaign planning, media monitoring, and drafting public statements for real-time situations. You’ll also support social media messaging, company blogs, and cross-channel communication with a PR lens. We’ll show you how to respond to crises with calm, consistency, and strategic messaging. You’ll get experience with press release formatting, tone of voice guidelines, and brand narrative alignment. You’ll join content reviews and get hands-on experience editing statements for tone, length, and impact.

Basic Qualifications:

• Coach team members on how to speak to the press or handle interviews.
• Track ROI of earned media and share insights with leadership in digestible reports.
• Remember: your words don’t just reflect the company—they shape how it’s remembered.
• Craft press releases, media pitches, and official statements that reflect the brand’s tone and values.
• Use both proactive and reactive PR tactics depending on the situation.

Preferred:

• Comfortable collaborating with marketing, legal, HR, or executive teams on cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience drafting press releases, media pitches, speeches, or internal communication memos.
• Understands how to manage brand reputation and craft messaging for different audiences.
• Able to monitor sentiment and stay ahead of public opinion shifts or emerging topics.
• Can track earned media coverage and prepare detailed PR performance reports.
