Description:

We’re hiring a Factory Operator to support operations in our metal processing facility — ideal for someone who’s strong, focused, and committed to safety in an industrial environment. You’ll operate heavy-duty equipment such as press brakes, rollers, furnaces, or cutting machines depending on your assigned station. You’ll monitor gauges, sensors, and displays to ensure equipment is functioning correctly and within safety limits. You’ll monitor gauges, temperatures, and pressure indicators to ensure operations stay within safety tolerances. You’ll perform regular quality checks — inspecting products for defects, alignment, and labeling accuracy. You’ll document machine output, downtime, and quality control data in digital systems as part of production tracking. You’ll be trained to detect damaged packaging, underweight items, or labeling issues and report them immediately. You’ll help clean your area, reload supplies, and reset machines at the end of each shift for a smooth restart. You’ll log batch numbers, times, and quantities for traceability and quality control records.

Basic Qualifications:

• Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning, lubricating, or changing parts.
• Support a team-driven environment built on communication, safety, and reliability.
• Support coworkers and fill in on different lines when needed during peak production.
• Be flexible with rotating shifts, overtime, or weekend work during peak production periods.
• Operate machinery and equipment according to safety protocols and production guidelines.

Preferred:

• Pays attention to machine performance, part alignment, and timing to avoid jams or defects.
• Able to follow technical instructions, blueprints, or standard operating procedures (SOPs) with accuracy.
• Background or interest in industrial operations, mechanical systems, or manufacturing processes.
• Physically fit and capable of standing, lifting, bending, and moving materials throughout the workday.
• Organized in keeping production logs, inventory counts, and daily output records up to date.

You’ll help resolve minor mechanical jams and notify maintenance teams of any equipment concerns. You’ll receive ongoing instruction in heat safety, lockout/tagout, and how to respond in case of equipment malfunction. You’ll help maintain production flow during weekends or holidays if scheduled, receiving proper shift differentials when applicable. You’ll follow all health and safety regulations, using protective gear and lockout/tagout procedures as required. You’ll follow all safety regulations, wearing PPE, locking out equipment when required, and keeping your station hazard-free. You’ll be expected to stay on your feet for long periods, lift moderate loads, and stay focused in a noisy, fast-paced environment. Previous experience with industrial automation or production equipment is a strong plus.
