Description:

We’re looking for a motivated Security System Installer Trainee — someone who’s good with their hands, eager to learn, and ready to enter the world of smart protection. You’ll ride along with trained techs, visiting homes, offices, warehouses, and retail stores to help install real security systems. You’ll start by assisting on real installations: unboxing smart devices, organizing cables, and prepping work areas. You’ll assist experienced technicians on real job sites — homes, offices, shops — learning how systems are set up in different environments. You’ll help set up systems that sync with mobile apps, smart assistants, and cloud storage for real-time access. You’ll be shown how to mount devices, connect control panels, and test systems for reliability and accuracy. You’ll work in private homes, small offices, and large buildings — each with unique needs and layouts. Expect variety — every site is different, every layout unique, and every client needs a solution that fits them. We’ll show you how to set up alarms, test emergency alerts, and confirm every zone works exactly as planned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Respect the client's property—clean up after the work is done.
• Stay calm and patient with clients who may not be tech-savvy.
• Always double-check connections and configurations before wrapping up a job.
• Train users on mobile apps and remote monitoring features.
• Work with team members or independently, depending on the job size.

Preferred:

• Familiar with running cables, mounting cameras, setting up DVR/NVR systems, and testing sensors.
• Wants to grow into roles like Senior Installer, Field Supervisor, or Security Consultant.
• Knows how to integrate multiple systems (alarms, door locks, cameras) into one platform when required.
• Thrives in hands-on, technical, and mission-critical environments where attention to detail matters.
• Familiar with configuring security software, mobile apps, or cloud-connected surveillance platforms.
