Description:

We’re looking for a Kindergarten Teacher Trainee — no experience needed, just patience, warmth, and a genuine love for helping children grow. If you’ve ever comforted a crying child, sparked a smile with a story, or helped tie tiny shoes, you already have the heart for this role. We’ll train you in how to turn games into lessons, stories into learning moments, and questions into conversation starters. Your first days will be spent observing, supporting, and gently joining in on group play, art time, storytime, and songs. We’ll train you in everything from daily routines to conflict resolution, from play-based learning to child safety standards. Expect finger paint on your hands, stickers on your clothes, and a room that rarely stays quiet for long — in the best way. We’ll show you how to gently guide behavior, create safe boundaries, and encourage independence at a child’s pace. You’ll learn how to guide behavior respectfully — with a calm voice, clear boundaries, and consistency. You’ll learn to log progress, share notes with the team, and adapt your approach as each child grows in their own way.

Basic Qualifications:

• Balance structure with play to foster both discipline and joy in learning.
• Create a calm environment where children can self-regulate and focus.
• Observe each child’s development and document key moments or concerns.
• Be present, observant, and ready to meet kids at their level—emotionally and intellectually.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, administrators, and other staff to support each child.

Preferred:

• Familiar with age-appropriate teaching methods that support emotional, social, and cognitive development.
• Pays close attention to each child’s unique learning style, needs, and developmental milestones.
• Enjoys helping young learners build confidence, curiosity, and kindness.
• Values compassion, patience, and creativity in early education settings.
• Knows how to create learning environments that are both educational and emotionally supportive.
