Looking for your first hands-on job? If you’ve never worked on a job site before, that’s okay — we’ll teach you everything from the ground up. You’ll begin with essential safety training, including how to wear protective gear and move safely on site. You’ll use power tools, hand tools, ladders, and heavy materials — and we’ll train you to use each one safely and properly. You’ll show up on time, stay alert, and know that even small tasks — sweeping, measuring, moving materials — keep the project moving. You’ll gradually be introduced to hand tools and power tools — always under supervision to ensure you’re learning safely. You’ll build your strength, your confidence, and your rhythm — learning when to push and when to slow down to stay safe and focused. You’ll work in the sun, the wind, sometimes the mud — but always with a crew that’s got your back. You’ll start to notice things you never did before: crooked angles, air bubbles, loose grout, missed spots — and you’ll be the one to fix them.

Basic Qualifications:

• Support traffic control or pedestrian redirection on public-facing construction projects.
• Support skilled tradespeople (e.g., electricians, carpenters, masons, plumbers) by preparing work areas and fetching tools or materials.
• Load and unload construction supplies from trucks and distribute them to appropriate areas on the site.
• Operate basic tools and equipment including hammers, saws, drills, compactors, and forklifts under proper supervision.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and adapt to physically demanding tasks over extended periods.

Preferred:

• Knows how to operate basic site equipment like wheelbarrows, ladders, or scaffolding.
• Enjoys working with their hands and seeing real progress at the end of each day.
• Willing to attend safety briefings, training sessions, or tool demos when required.
• Background or interest in construction, building, renovation, or skilled trades.
• Capable of helping load and unload materials, tools, and debris as needed.
