Description:

We’re seeking an experienced Film Director who can lead bold visual storytelling with intention, precision, and heart — someone who thrives at the intersection of vision and execution. You’ll be responsible for shaping the overall tone, pacing, and narrative of each project, guiding it from concept to final cut. From the first read to the final cut, you’ll shape the tone, rhythm, and depth of each story with precision and heart. You’ll direct casting, lead rehearsals, and bring out layered performances that feel honest, surprising, and fully human. You’ll design scenes with a sharp eye for blocking, movement, and camera language that enhances the emotional core of each moment. Your creative direction will influence everything from costume design to lighting tone to soundscape strategy. You’ll participate in location scouting, storyboard development, and visual references that shape pre-production planning. On set, you’ll lead with clarity and calm, navigating the realities of tight schedules without compromising creative intent. In post-production, you’ll oversee editing, color grading, sound design, and scoring to ensure everything clicks in rhythm and tone.

Basic Qualifications:

• Attend test screenings and incorporate audience feedback when appropriate.
• Push creative boundaries without losing sight of the story’s emotional truth.
• Give constructive, respectful direction to both cast and crew to get the best results.
• Translate a script or concept into a compelling visual story with clear artistic vision.
• Collaborate with cinematographers, production designers, and costume teams to build the film’s visual world.

Preferred:

• Able to create a positive set culture that supports collaboration, diversity, and professionalism.
• Familiar with working under budget constraints while maintaining creative integrity.
• Comfortable leading a production crew, coordinating with cinematographers, production designers, and actors.
• Pays attention to casting, performance direction, and building authentic on-screen chemistry.
• Strong storytelling ability with a clear vision and command over cinematic language, pacing, and tone.
