We’re hiring a beginner Gardener / Landscaper who wants to turn hard work and sunlight into something beautiful. You don’t need any prior experience — just a respect for nature, a willingness to get your hands dirty, and a positive attitude. You’ll start with basic tasks like raking, watering, weeding, and helping move soil, mulch, and plants. We’ll show you how to care for native plants, support pollinators, and use sustainable gardening practices. You’ll learn how to compost, mulch effectively, and reduce waste while maintaining healthy green areas. Expect to spend your days outdoors, moving with purpose, noticing small changes, and building physical strength. Basic Qualifications:

• Track hours, materials used, or tasks completed using logs or apps for reporting and billing purposes.
• Read and follow site plans, blueprints, or garden designs to install and maintain landscapes accurately.
• Monitor plant health—identifying signs of disease, pests, or stress and taking corrective actions as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols when using ladders, chemicals, or power equipment in outdoor conditions.
• Keep tools clean, sharp, and properly stored; notify supervisors of damaged or missing equipment.

Preferred:

• Organized in managing garden waste, tool storage, and on-site cleanliness.
• Understands how to follow landscaping plans or instructions from clients or supervisors.
• Open to tasks like rooftop garden care, vertical gardens, or container planting for urban settings.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and performing physically demanding labor.
• Willing to learn about eco-friendly practices, native plants, and sustainable landscaping design.
