Description:

We’re hiring an Architect Trainee who’s ready to learn how ideas become blueprints and blueprints become buildings — no experience needed, just a strong eye for design and willingness to grow. You’ll assist in creating floor plans, massing studies, and digital models that support early design exploration. We’ll teach you how to think in both 2D and 3D, and how to turn spatial concepts into practical, buildable designs. You’ll help create renderings, diagrams, and design documents that communicate ideas to clients and contractors. Expect to work with design tools like Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, and Photoshop — we’ll support your learning every step of the way. You’ll help gather site data, take measurements, and understand how physical constraints shape design decisions. We’ll guide you through the process of developing 2D layouts into detailed 3D visualizations. You’ll participate in internal reviews, giving and receiving feedback to sharpen your creative instincts. You’ll contribute to documentation for planning applications, code compliance, and sustainable certifications.

Basic Qualifications:

• Adapt plans when unexpected challenges arise—soil issues, zoning limits, or client changes.
• Develop schematic designs and refine them into construction-ready documents with full technical specs.
• Present concepts to stakeholders with clarity, whether it’s a sketch or a full 3D walkthrough.
• Sketch freely when ideas are raw—think napkin, not always blueprint.
• Balance beauty and practicality—your designs should inspire, but also get built.

Preferred:

• Knows how to prepare and revise technical documentation to comply with regulations and stakeholder feedback.
• Thrives in design-focused, collaborative studios where creativity meets practicality.
• Comfortable creating architectural visualizations, 3D models, and presentation boards for client review.
• Keeps up with architectural trends, technologies, and sustainability standards like LEED or BREEAM.
• Experienced in producing detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and architectural details.
