Description:

We’re looking for a Pastry Decorator who turns desserts into works of art — someone who combines precision, patience, and creativity to make every cake, tart, and pastry visually unforgettable. You’ll decorate cakes, cupcakes, and assorted desserts according to our daily production schedule and style guides. You’ll meet with clients or take detailed briefs to understand exactly what they’re dreaming of, then bring it to life with buttercream, fondant, and artistry. You’ll collaborate with executive chefs and planners to ensure every creation aligns with theme, palette, and overall event aesthetic. You’ll work with buttercream, ganache, fondant, chocolate, and glaze — knowing when to go bold and when to keep it simple. You’ll keep a sharp eye on quality, making sure every product leaving the kitchen meets our visual and structural standards. We expect you to handle delicate components with care and stay focused even under time pressure or large order volume. You’ll photograph your finished work and help showcase it on our social media or website portfolio. You’ll help clean and sanitize your station and equipment daily, keeping everything food-safe and orderly.

Basic Qualifications:

• Adapt designs quickly when last-minute changes or constraints arise.
• Manage decorating timelines to ensure all orders are completed on schedule and ready for pickup or service.
• Work with precision—even when the detail work takes patience and a steady hand.
• Replicate existing designs or create original ones based on client briefs or seasonal trends.
• Ensure all decorated items meet visual, structural, and taste quality standards before display or delivery.

Preferred:

• Familiar with food safety practices, allergen handling, and maintaining cleanliness in a bakery environment.
• Capable of communicating with customers or team members to clarify design expectations.
• Familiar with photographing and presenting finished pastries for marketing or portfolio use.
• Pays close attention to color harmony, symmetry, and detail in every decoration.
• Willing to prep elements in advance, such as flowers, toppers, or fondant accents, for efficiency.
